ZN Era, an architecture studio, has spawned a concept for a skyscraper, Downtown Circle, that will be situated around the iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai city centre.

Measuring an impressive 550-metres in height, and 3,000 metres around its perimeter, this remarkable skyscraper will consist of two interrelated primary rings. These will provide a space for people to live, as well as spaces geared towards public use, business interests, and cultural activities.

The ZN Era's Downtown Circle project is a continuous metropolis that seeks to address the rapid urbanisation and population growth in Dubai. It would wrap around the famous Burj Khalifa, designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, which stands tallest as the world's skyscraper.
