Polestar has released another limited-edition version of its Polestar 2 within the Polestar Engineered portfolio – the BST edition 230. Building on the outstanding chassis modifications of the initially crafted BST edition, this new version focuses more on performance design features.

The BST edition 230 has the same chassis modifications as the BST 270, providing 469 horsepower.
This new BST edition is a highly exclusive piece, with only 230 examples available for Europe and North America.!
25 Cars will be available to UK customers in the country.

The 230 and 270 models both feature the same twin-motor powertrain, boasting 469bhp/502lb ft of torque. This translates to a 0-62mph time of just 4.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 125mph.

“Limited drops like the BST edition 230 allow us to explore colours, graphics and materials in faster and more creative ways,” says Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO.

The Polestar 2 BST edition 230 comes with standout design features – green Nebula paintwork and MicroSuede textual seats and steering wheel inserts crafted from partly recycled Nubuck textile – plus the option of a striking full-length body stripe in Space (black) or a matching colour.

The original Polestar 2 BST edition 270 featured a range of chassis upgrades that are still available, including a lowered ride height of -25mm, Öhlins 2-way adjustable dampers specifically created for this purpose, a front strut bar, 20% stiffer springs and black 21-inch alloy wheels. The wheels are based on the ones from the Polestar 1 car and are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres designed exclusively for BST editions.

230 Polestar cars will be released for the European and North American markets. Beginning March 21, 2023, Delivery of these units is planned to start in Q3 2023.

In June 2022, the firm unveiled the BST edition 270 Polestar 2, restricted to a worldwide run of just 270 models. This exclusive model featured alterations to the chassis, along with increased power – albeit at a higher price than other variations.
