$NIO Cuts Q4 2022 Delivery Expectations.

Chinese EV startup NIO as EV cut deliveries expectations for December 2022. So far NIO has done well to deliver over 91,000 EVs in 2022. The company has sold 41K ES6s, 29,900 ES8s, and almost 30K EC6s. To say this company is undervalued is an understatement.
NIO will most certainly build and sell 100K+ EVs this year alone, the stock price currently sits at $9.80 and the market cap resides at $18B, at the time of writing.
This alone should tell us that something is affecting the wilder financial market. NIO should not be held accountable for the downward trend of their stock price as many electric vehicles manufacturer are experiencing similar effects.
Apple, Tesla and Polestar are all manufacturing EVs in china and thus they are affected by the recent instability in the region such as lockdowns and protests.
The USA market is also being affected, we believe this is a result of reason rising prices in lithium which then cause manufacturing constraints and supply chain issues.
American EV companies such as Lucid and Rivian have seen significant drops in share prices recently. This could also be a result of companies without the USA who are very reliant on Chinese manufacturing of parts and EV lithium batteries.

NIO forecast for Q4 was high, the company was expected to deliver between 43,000 to 48,000. However the company recently published Investors Blog Updates on Adjusts Fourth Quarter 2022 Delivery Outlook, the Company now expects to deliver 38,500 to 39,500 vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2022.
With the reduce deliveries numbers, for any start up electric company to build and deliver almost 40K EV's in only 3 months is still very impressive.
