How Polestar Made It To 150,000 Cars Production Mark

The Polestar 2 is Polestar's first volume car, which went into production in 2020. Within three years, Polestar has produced over 150,000 cars. As part of the company's continued growth, Polestar has begun delivering its significantly upgraded Polestar 2 2024.
Polestar has been the fastest-growing car brand in the UK in the first seven months of 2023, with new registrations growing by 174% over the same period last year. Over 20,000 Polestar 2 cars are now on the UK roads.
Thomas Ingenlath, Polestar CEO, comments: “The upgraded Polestar 2 is the best version to date. With improved software, better quality, longer range and faster charging, it is the basis from which we continue to grow our business.”
In new 2024 polestar 2 with the new 82kWh battery, Long range Single motor is now certified for 406 miles WLTP, and its maximum DC charging speed is now up to 205kW. Polestar 2 is even more fun to drive thanks to its new motors, rear-wheel drive for the single motors and rear bias for the dual motors. Power delivery is improved by shifting weight to the driven wheels.
The Polestar 2 set the company on a new path towards a cleaner future and continual growth in key markets such as Norway, Sweden, Germany, the UK, global expansion are also taking a huge leap forwards.
The brand is expanding its lineup, introducing the Polestar 3 and Polestar 4.
