The most recent trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) sees Miles Morales running from a multiverse of Spider-People, as he jumps from one reality to the next.

The first trailer for Across the Spider-Verse suggested that Miles' transition from one world to another would be complicated by disagreements among the Spider-people, although they all theoretically work together.

This latest video clarifies why Miguel O'Hara (Oscar Isaac) takes the lead in catching Miles. As with all prominent Spider-Man narratives, tragedy is involved and it appears as though Miles could be faced with a difficult call: save one person he cares about or save the world. Such a dilemma will determine his relationship with the other heroes of the movie.

Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) is flourishing in his own universe, juggling life between excelling at school and combatting neighbourhood villains such as the Spot (Jason Schwartzman).

As ever, his mother Rio (Luna Lauren Vélez) and father Jefferson (Brian Tyree Henry) wish nothing more than for their son to be content and be communicative towards them. Instead of informing them of his secret life, this time it’s Miles who is approached by Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld): a friend from an alternate reality who extends him an invitation to embark on a thrilling journey.

One part that's definitely shared is the 3.5-litre supercharged V6 in the Emira as well as the Evora and Exige. The Type 62-2 sits in the middle, obviously, and its transmission is either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed twin-clutch, but Radford assures us it's "engineered for unrivalled mechanical feel, exceptional engagement, and uncompromising poise."
