Apple recently unveiled its new, top-tier iPhones, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. These feature titanium frames and a class-leading thinness. Powered by the most powerful Apple processor yet, they were announced at the Wanderlust event held at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

The rumour mill had been running rampant for months leading up to the announcement. iOS 17 will introduce several huge changes for users. StandBy mode is poised to alter how you use your device when idle, while interactive widgets have become available to customize your homescreen look and feel. Extra features such as Live Voicemail and Contact Posters may also inspire you to pick up that phone more often.

This year's Pro features a 6.1-inch screen, while the Pro Max has a 6.7-inch display. Both are built with an incredibly robust housing that Apple claims is among the toughest of any smartphone currently available. Although the new design doesn't appear vastly distinct from what we've seen before, it represents a substantial change nonetheless. Consumers can choose from white, black, blue, and "natural" colors. As usual, Apple emphasizes its rigorous engineering technology behind the product's development.

At Apple's Wanderlust event at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, CEO Tim Cook announced the new iPhone lineup to replace last year's models. Rumors preceding the launch had been circulating for months and with iOS 17 it seems that the way people use their iPhones is going to change significantly. StandBy mode, interactive widgets, Live Voicemail and Contact Posters are some of the features that could revolutionise existing user experience.

The base models have all the same stuff from last year's Pro like Dynamic Island, the camera tech and A16 Bionic chip as well as some new ideas based on USB-C port present in all Pro models which enable easier capture of data that can be used elsewhere. During the event Phil Joswiak claimed that this was "our best and most Pro iPhone ever," pointing to how much effort was put into making sure users get a tangible experience beyond everyday use when they purchase an iPhone.
