Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (review) continues Miles Morales’ superhero saga, and while the story is only half finished, it sets up the next installment, Beyond the Spider-Verse. Does Across the Spider-Verse Have a Post-Credits Scene?
The latest Spider-Man movie does not contain any mid or post-credit scenes; however, a title card appears during the end credits which announces that Miles Morales will return in another instalment. Even without this additional scene, we think it's still pretty cool! Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is set to be released on March 29, 2024.
The Ending
The finale of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse focuses on Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), who find themselves in two diverse universes. At an important point in the movie, Miles is overwhelmed by two revelations.
Miles finally finds the courage to tell his mother (Rio) of his hidden identity. Although she has never heard of Spider-Man, because this universe's spider wasn't able to bite Peter like in others, there is still no Spider-Man present. This lack of a web-slinging hero has enabled many villains to succeed.
Miles's father is no longer alive, but his uncle Aaron (Mahershala Ali) still is. He was the Prowler on Earth-1610, and met a tragic end at the hands of Kingpin. But here on Earth-42 it looks like Miles has taken up the Prowler mantle - and it seems he won't be as nice as his uncle was!
